Fantastic, and very much in character when it comes to the Soviets. The rifle looks like an overgrown PPSh, but the design fits the overall theme like a glove.

I must say, your designs might be a major source of inspiration for my sculpting. I might be borrowing a lot of your RENS concept, although that particular guy might benefit from a Rush style chest piece... well, maybe simplified and covered with PALS strips for more flexibility. Even today's Russians seem to be enamored with MOLLE gear, despite overall lack of funds for individual equipment. :D
